Summer Internship - Business Analyst or Data Scientist           

Location:            Nottingham City Centre

Duration:            8 Weeks

Salary:                 £27,500 per annum, pro-rata

Datagum is a rapidly growing scale up in the IT Market Data sector. We are an international Consultancy and Software company with offices in Adelaide, Dubai, Hong Kong and headquarters in Nottingham. We deliver high impact services and software to our global clients who include Investment Banks, Investment Managers, Exchanges and Brokers.

Job Description:

 We are looking for curious and motivated students to join our Summer Internship Programme. As a Business Analyst or a Data Scientist Intern you will join our UK team and gain hands on experience working on projects supported by experienced professionals throughout the programme.

 

We don’t expect you to come in knowing everything about what we do or how we do it.  This internship is about learning, asking questions and being part of the team.

During the internship:

During the internship, you will look to solve real business problems. This could include analysing information, identifying patterns and helping the team turn data into clear insights, contributing towards product developments and supporting ongoing client work.  You will work closely with our vastly experienced experts whilst collaborating with colleagues across the business. We will provide guidance, training and feedback to help you build your skills and confidence.

The difference you could make:

Your work will contribute to client or internal projects. This could include helping organisations better understand their data usage and solutions to use it more effectively. You will see how data analysis supports decision making in a consultancy environment and gain practical experience. This is an opportunity to understand how data is used in the real world and develop skills that are valuable across many industries.
