Datagum is a rapidly growing start-up in the IT Market Data sector. We are an international based Consultancy and Software company, with our office headquarters in Nottingham and staff in London and Australia. Here at Datagum we help our UK and international-based clients develop high-impact data solutions and have a diverse range of expertise in this sector.

As part of our commitment to creating data solutions that stick, we’re continually exploring technology and different ways of working to put our clients first. Data and how it is managed isn’t just changing how we provide services – it’s changing everything.

The Programme you’ll join:

We don’t expect you to come straight in being the finished package and know everything about what we do.   As one of our Graduate Business Data Analysts, we’ll help make sure you get the most out of your time with us by embedding you in some of our key projects at our London and International based clients. We will also take the time to ensure that you learn and start growing your career in an expanding and growing field. Our expert colleagues have a diverse range of experience so there’s plenty of opportunity for you to learn from others and share your ideas.

During the Business Data Analyst Graduate programme, you will assist in collaborating closely with the business stakeholders to establish broad internal stakeholder relationships. Business Data Analysts ensure effective communication and understanding of requirements between us and our clients. You will also develop a deep understanding of our in-house software and even help contribute to our expanding suite of tools. You will use your problem-solving skills to help manage data and use insights from this data to suggest and help implement enhancements to our systems and clients’ business processes.

What we look for:

It’s who you are that matters here, rather than what you studied.   We look for candidates who are analytical, eager to learn and ready to take on a challenge. A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn about technology is vital, as is a lively interest in our work and our industry. Creative thinking and the ability to build and develop relationships with colleagues is important too.

We welcome applications from ALL degree backgrounds; you do not need a technology related degree. If you’re inquisitive and ambitious, a Graduate Business Data Analyst position at Datagum is a great opportunity to discover your full potential.

How you’ll be supported:

You’ll start with a welcome and orientation, where you’ll meet your fellow Graduate students and find out about us and our work. After that, we will invest in your learning and support you through FISD training.

Once the programme begins, you’ll learn every day from the experts around you and through tackling real projects. Our focus will be on supporting you to gain experience and discover what kind of future you could build in our industry.

Support is core to our culture, so you’ll have a buddy and a mentor to help you whenever you need. You will also join a close-knit community, with plenty of social and networking events to help you find your feet.
